Authorization
Prospective first-time renters must fax or mail in the completed Application Form, which authorizes us to obtain the personal information necessary for determining driver eligibility. This one-time credentialing process must be completed before we can actually confirm a reservation to rent a vehicle. Typically, the process has a very quick turnaround, but in some cases, may take several business days depending on your state of residence. After we have confirmed eligibility, we will call to finalize the reservation.
Eligibility
Vehicle rentals are available to licensed drivers aged 25 and older with clean driving records (no major moving violations, DUI convictions or reckless driving citations) and clean background checks.
Insurance
All renters must carry an automobile insurance policy that covers 100/300/100, collision and comprehensive coverage of the vehicle during the rental period. Usually, the process of obtaining coverage for the specified time period requires only a quick phone call to one's automobile insurance carrier. It is the renter's responsibility to verify coverage with his/her insurance company.
Additional Drivers
A maximum of one additional driver per rental is allowed. Before the rental period, the additional driver must submit a separate Application Form (at the time of reservation) and sign a separate rental contract (at the time of vehicle delivery/pickup).
International Clients
International clients may rent vehicles with proof of a valid passport, driver's license from his/her home country, and international driver's permit.
